Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP Restoration – In this video I’m taking a broken Game Boy and making it look new again. The Game Boy Advance SP (special) was released in 2003 and this one is in pretty bad shape. To restore it I replace the battery, replace the case, clean up the liquid damage and dust from the motherboard, and replace the top screen protector.

About This Video: I’m restoring a thrashed Game Boy Advance SP in this video to “like new” condition. That means a new case, new screen protector, new battery, and cleaning out off the motherboard. And, of course, making sure everything works when I’m done. It’s so satisfying to take old gaming equipment and make it look new again.

  3. bit of a late comment, but it seems kinda odd that you would repair a 001 model, mainly because they are cheapo consoles compared to the 101.

  11. I can not find a shell in graphite color or drak gray for my GBA Sp AGS 101. They have all the colors except this I am so dissapointed

  14. Soothing video, love it! But technically you don't restore nothing, don't get me wrong, replacing worn parts with new parts it's not the same like try to renew one.

In the other hand, replace all parts kill the charm, I rescued some systems and games from flea markets, I cleaned or repaired all, but I conserved names or drawing on labels/ cartridges (I have a hand drawn Kirby GBC game). Subbed to your channel

  23. shame you didn't do the ips display mod, it looks amazing.
